fengchia night market, located next to fengchia university in taichung, is one of the biggest night markets in taiwan. students from nearby schools frequent this area, it allows you to stroll around as you enjoy a huge range of reasonably priced shopping and eating options. the area is very happening during the day, but it is at night that the crowds really come in. the shop owners and the stall keepers gather to sell all kinds of snacks, clothes, and accessories. my favourite area to shop in this night market is close to the wutaijei plaza. there are lots of stores with individuality. window shop with me!
as promised, some artistic pictures from the outfit couple days ago. i guess you could say that some people do get inspired by the visit to the art gallery =p i want to tell you more about the trip to the national taiwan museum of fine arts, but maybe another day. have a wonderful weekend you lovelies =)
the national taiwan museum of fine arts currently has an exhibit called viewpoints & viewing points – 2009 asian art biennial which runs till february 28th, 2010. admission to the exhibit and the museum is free.
i have been rained in for 2 days! so when the sun finally came out this morning, i ran outside with a couple of newly rediscovered pieces from my closet (guess what i have been doing these 2 days?) and snapped a few pictures. i’ve had this zara cardigan for the longest time but never really wore it until recently. i’ve always thought that it was a bit too plain and boring. but i guess a simple cardigan could go well with a busy looking top. like my horsie tank dress here (worn as a tank top). now that’s yet another piece that’s been neglected for a long time. sorry my horsies.
now, check back soon because i have a whole bunch of cool and artistic pictures on this outfit to show you =)
i live in vancouver and taipei. i love guitar and roadtrips. sunshine and the beach. cupcakes and coffee. indie music and foreign films. i want to scuba dive at the great barrier reef and speak french in paris.
