hi loves! i hope you all had a great weekend! the weather has been really nice here in vancouver but i was sick and didn’t get to enjoy much of it =( before i got sick i did go and check out the sale at H&M. i have never ever found anything i liked at H&M sales but this time managed to score this cute summer dress! i added my new oh-so-soft perfect drape pocket shirt on top for the warm but windy weather, it’s also great for transition from day to night. a special thank you to EgoCloset for sending me this shirt ♥
i’ve also got a few offers and announcements for readers if you’d like. as i’ve stated in the EgoCloset Giveaway post, readers of What Annie Wears can use coupon code WHATANNIEWEARS at checkoutfor 5% off your entire purchase. On top of that, EgoCloset is sending out 10% off coupons to everybody who likes and share their page on Facebook, they will even pick someone to give out a $50 gift card. the coupons are stackable (total of 15% discount), so here is EgoCloset’s facebook page if you’re interested. don’t forget to let them know that i sent you =)
DISCLAIMER: The perfect drape pocket shirt was provided by EgoCloset. I was not paid in any way nor obligated to include the item in my post. All opinions expressed are mine. Coupon code is only for the benefit of my readers and I will not receive any monetary compensation for it.
boy do i suck at coming up with post titles! sorry for not being more creative =P
so i have always liked wearing hats, i have quite a collection even though only a few of them get to be worn. but lately i have been obsessed with using scarves as headbands. i think headscarves make everyday outfits look more interesting, especially when you wear a brightly colored headscarf with a neutral outfit. here i paired a nautical top (love the back collar… i wonder if there’s a name for it) with a casual black skirt, and made my gold Coach scarf into a headband. i have never seen nautical paired with anything gold, so i thought it’d be fun to try =) what do you think?
btw little Andre passed by when we were taking pictures next to the railway track. say hi!
i think i have the strangest habits when it comes to shopping for clothes. if you follow me on twitter you might know that i’ve been buying sweaters in the middle of summer. it’s kind of ridiculous that i now have 5 spanking new (or new to me) sweaters sitting in my closet, i won’t be able to wear for another 3 months (possibly shorter because it’s vancouver and you just never know). another weird habit of mine is that i keep on adding the same sort of items to my wardrobe. this dove print dress is the perfect example of that, because i already have several items in animal prints! just look at my kitty print dress and bunny print cardigan. but heck this dress is just too cute to pass up! so here is a bit of cute dove goodness paired with one of my favorite denim vests ♥
