[Outfit] Valentine’s Day Look

hey loves! so valentine’s day is coming… i know it’s uncool to admit that you like something as mainstream as valentine’s day but i have to say i’m quite fond of it. but not because of all the flowers, fancy dinners, and chocolates (ok maybe i do love the chocolate part). i dig valentine’s day because all the girls in taipei dress up! that makes great people-watching imo. i will probably be busy working on valentine’s day this year, but i came up with a valentine’s day outfit anyways… because why not? and i know it’s kind of a cliche to wear pink on valentine’s day but this boxy blazer makes it cool and relaxed, which i really appreciate. anyways i hope you dig and happy valentine’s day =)

Denim Shirt x 4 Ways

so i found this denim shirt awhile back whilst shopping at the men’s section of Salvation Army. i was totally smitten by the corduroy collar and i knew right away that it had to come home with me, even though it was way too big. today i’m styling this men’s over-sized denim shirt 4 ways… hope you dig =)

Look 1

wearing the denim shirt as a light jacket is a look i really enjoy. i like how simple and effortless it looks, perfect for a breezy spring/summer night!

Look 2

when wearing oversized shirts or vests i sometimes like to tie a knot in the front to shorten the item. this look is casual and fun =)

Look 3

buttoning the shirt and tucking in the bottom makes a more polished and put-together look. i would probably go into work wearing the shirt like this, and then after work i would un-tuck the shirt and grab dinner with friends (perhaps go for look 1 or look 4 if it’s warm out).

Look 4

this is probably my favorite look out of the 4. simple, cool, and very 90’s =)
