Salumi in Seattle’s Pioneer Square is a little sandwich shop serving cured meats, hot and cold sandwiches, farmers market soups, and yummy pasta. it is just my type of place, small and rustic, with a dedicated cult following ♥

Meet my new boots! Every year when winter rolls around i promise myself i would get a pair of waterproof boots for the snow, but every year i fail miserably. Well not this year! I got a chance to try out these Cougar Marla boots. They are described, on The Bay’s website, as a “granny-hiking boots cross-over.” I mean, how awesome does that sound? It would be totally silly to pass them up. Not only they’re comfortable to walk in, with the plush lining i bet they will also keep my feet very warm this winter! Perfect for us Canadians, eh? =P
i enjoy a stroll in the International District every time i visit seattle. i love how its a mix of old and new. you see old and classic buildings filled with modern art work occupying the space. it’s a wonderful contrast in my opinion. and only by walking up and down the streets can you really take in the vibe and appreciate this area completely ♥
