I am so happy I found another Canadian blogger, albeit in Vancouver. I just appeared on your blog via IFB and I love it.
I would love to stay in touch and maybe even become blog-buddies. How do you feel about a link exchange and following my posts. I’ll be sure to return the favour. 🙂
I couldn’t fit my reply on twitter =.= I’ll do it here.
CNE is 100% identical to PNE in every way. Lots of rides, some pretty terrifying (like the super fast spinning upside down stuff), sort of more fun if youre a kid but many ppl our age still go to buy crappy items and eat very strange foods. We have fried butter (which is butter dipped in batter), chocolate bacon (I’ll never try this), fried mars bars (delicious as heck), beaver tails…. etc 🙂 But for us it’s always quite emotional.
I don’t know when PNE is held but CNE happens in late august every year. I used to go with my best friend back in high school and that feeling of being happy to meet up but sad school starts soon remains in EVERYONE’S minds. Then we went off to university and stopped going as much heh~ It’s really nostalgic *tear*. Just pigging out and seeing CN Tower in the background.
Has Annie ever been to Toronto? How did Annie like hongkong? I’m sure it’s nothin compared to Taiwan but did ya have a good time regardless? I’m get choked up every time I go back because I used to live there.
CNE sounds great! I have only been to PNE twice and both experiences were very blah… one was a highschool physics class field trip and we had to write a report =( second time was for fright night and the haunted houses were all dull, not scary AT ALL! =P
I have been to Toronto actually, maybe 6 years ago? only stayed in the city for a day, would definitely love to go back! what do you think is the most attractive about toronto? I loved Hong Kong! I had a blast, it’s a great place to visit! and of course LOVED the FOOD! Taiwan’s beautiful in its own way, but Hong Kong was quite an experience for me =) do you go back to visit often?
where was the pizza pic taken? What restaurant in vancouver. It sure looks yummy O.O Do they have Marche/Richtree/Movenpick in vancouver? I finally went to Guu Izakaya 2 weeks ago and wow wow wow it was soooo gooood. Toronto only has one location unlike you guys and the lineups are insanity~
it is a place in White Rock called Classic O. P. Pizza, it’s this tiny tiny pizzeria that does mostly take out and delivery, their pizzas are to die for!
nope we don’t have any of those ice creams in Vancouver (at least not that i know of) =P friends and I used to go to Guu a lot but not anymore, there are just so many new restaurants in Vancouver that are worth trying!
