Win cute buttons!
In my last post I mentioned a giveaway. Patty came up with the idea to give away buttons she we (i helped!) made at The Regional Assembly of Text. Yes, she brought me to the store, made the buttons, came up with the idea, and took pictures for my blog. Poor soul =P anyways, I have four buttons to give away to two of my lovely readers. Each winner will receive two buttons and a postcard I got from the store. I know it is not much, but two of the buttons were hand-drawn and hand-made by us! It is my way to say thank you for reading my little blog. And heck this is my first giveaway and i hope it will be tons of fun, woop!
All you need to do to win is to leave a comment and tell me what you would like to see more of on this blog. Outfits? Photography? Restaurants? Travel? Wishlist? Music? This contest will end next Wednesday 5/12 at 9 pm Pacific Time. Two winners will be selected at random. This giveaway is open to readers worldwide. Please make sure you leave your e-mail or a blog link with your comment so I can contact you. Good luck my sweets!

AND TRAVEL!
I really loved your geocaching adventures, and especially seeing where you go (such as the regional assembly). I love the pictures of you going places, and especially when in the pictures you can see your outfits at the same time. So from that, two things in one! : ) Hoping to see more! I love your style!
P.S. I love it when you take pictures where there’s a nice scenery!

Hi Annie,
I am a Hong Konger that lives in Singapore currently. Came across your blog when I was doing some research for my Taiwan trip. Love your styling and write- ups on many unique and hidden places. I also like the photo shoots on the outfits and different angles of the places that you visited. Thru ur lens and words, it really makes me want to go to those places. I also love the way you add on music to most of the entries, really helps to build up the mood when reading.
I realized that you do more on mix and match mostly for garments and also bags and shoes.. was thinking, since you have long hair, why not try to do some hair styling? I believe, it definitely will enhance the overall look. And also, I really like some of the shops that you visited, maybe if possible, you can take pictures of the staff that are working there or interview them, about items that they feel that are really unique and so on. Also maybe the shop owner on how they came up with the deco ideas and themes of their shops.
Whatever it is, thanks for all the great pics and info!

i’m glad that you like my little blog =) and thank you so much for all your suggestions! this is great, exactly what i was looking for. useful suggestions and constructive criticism. i don’t usually do much with my hair for number of reasons. my hair being really hard to style for one. also i’ve noticed that i never photograph well in other hair styles. but you’re absolutely right, i should be more open-minded and try something different with my hair once in awhile! and i will for sure try to take pictures and interview some of the fashionistas i come across, once i can get over my shyness =P
so when are you visiting taiwan? is it your first time? if you need any help with that research gimme a shout ok? x
Could you introduce us to more nice shops? Especially little boutiques, haha… I love those!

Millou:
of course! i will be glad to!
I think I kind of face the same prob as u, cos i didn’t like to style my hair as well and in actual fact, I don’t even tie up, cos it will leave an ugly mark 😛 But i think maybe a nice hand band, or cute pins will give a subtle touch. 🙂
Haha, i think it will take some time to overcome that, but don’t worry, I guess most of them will be more than willing to help.
Actually I visited TW in end of mar. It was a freaking awesome place, will go there again for sure, probably next yr 🙂
Ever think of visiting hot tropical countries? Like Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore?

i feel that headbands and pins are too cutesy for me. every time i put on a headband i feel like i’m 14 years old lol.
yeah, taiwan is great! i miss taiwan a lot these days! where did you go in tw? did you get to explore outside of taipei? and try lots of local food? i have been dying to visit thailand for ages! was suppose to go while i was in taiwan earlier this year but something came up =( and i was in singapore many many years ago, i don’t remember much of it though.
Haha, I think because you’ve got a baby face, look young. Hmm.. maybe hats and caps? I personally love them!!
It’s one of the countries that I actually wished to stay there for good! I went to Taipei, Tai Chung and Hua Lien, only went for 8 days, so it was just a touch and go. Yup, tried lots of local food, yum yum!! Shopping at Tai Chung can really get crazy. And Agnes B are cheaper in Taipei compared to Singapore!!
Pls visit Thailand!! The food are fantastic!! Shopping is mad if you are looking for unique designs (though quality might be not up to standard). Their local designers are very talented and it’s freaking affordable. I’ve been there twice and planning to go this year end, but still pending due to the current situation in Thailand.
Singapore is kind of small, good for a short trip for its multi racial culture. If you planning a trip to Singapore, can wait for its Universal Studio to be fully varnished. Maybe can also visit Malaysia after Singapore, because it’s just a bridge away. 🙂

oh i did do some hats and beanies before. i guess it should be a good time to bring them out again huh? =) that’s a great suggestion actually, thanks!
ohhhh hua lien is absolutely amazing! i loved it soooo much! 8 days is definitely not enough for taiwan, you have to try to go back for another visit! promise me you will!
yeah i was planning to visit singapore and see some friends there, then malaysia, and thailand… maybe even vietnam and cambodia! too bad my southeast asia trip didn’t happen =( it would have been so much fun! so you mentioned that you’re studying in singapore but originally from hk? what made you go to singapore?
Great, haha, can’t wait to see them in your photos next time. 🙂
I went Tarogo National Park at Hua Lien, it was breath taking! I shoot pics like mad, too bad I don’t have DSLR. Actually I am planning to revisit again next yr, but depends on my savings also, haha, because currently planning a trip to shanghai expo.
Make it happen then 🙂 It’s gonna be fun because those places that you listed down, are very different from Vancouver, TW and HK.
Yup, I was born in HK but came to Singapore at the age of 6… so i grow up here and currently working. Well, the decision of migration was made by my parents. Because education in Singapore seems better than HK. How long have u been staying in Vancouver? I’ve never been there before 😛

Taroko Gorge in my opinion, just might be the most beautiful place in Taiwan. I went there for the first time earlier this year actually, the weather was horrible and we were freezing our asses off. but I thought it was totally worth it. I would love to go back there again, but the next time, in the summer =P
Do you go back to HK often? still have family there? How do you like Singapore and HK? do you see many big differences? It’s funny because I actually have a friend from Singapore that moved to HK to study for his master’s. as for me, my family moved to Vancouver about 12 years ago. although i’ve been away a lot, i do call this home since my family’s here. will you ever come visit? i will take you shopping woop =P
可惜我錯過了…
