yung-kang street in taipei
yung-kang street area in taipei is my favourite place to go to for a lazy afternoon. it is known for its eateries, shaved ice shop, and ting tai feng, but it offers so much more than that! i love the independent cafes, lovely boutiques, and quirky thrift shops in and around the area. it is rare to find a place that is trendy, yet so down-to-earth at the same time, and yung-kang street area is just that =)

rebecca: ohhhh i adore maison martin margiela! i believe we have stores in tw =)
there aren’t that many thrift/vintage shops in taiwan yet, people do still tend to refrain from purchasing second hand goods. yongkang street is definitely a good place to start. and then there’s this massive flea market house near kuting mrt station, they have everything! antiques, vinyls, bags, shoes, coats…. and cheap too! check it out if you’re in town! unfortunately i won’t be in taiwan this april =( are you going to be traveling there? btw, ur blog is cute =D
this is the link to the flea market: http://www.尋寶跳蚤屋.tw/index.html
