i was at the Vancouver Christmas Market over the weekend. located at the Plaza of the Queen Elizabeth Theatre, a small German Christmas market was built with hand-crafted wooden booths and houses. bratwurst sausages, brataepfe (stuffed baked apples), crafts, christmas ornaments, german cheesecake, pretzels, and mulled wine were among the things you can find there. there’s also live holiday tunes! market opens from November 28 to December 24, 2010 =)

hey my sweets! so Patty took me to Thomas Haas the other day. it’s this famous vancouver bakery with 2 locations offering gourmet and delectable handcrafted chocolates and pastries. i liked everything i’ve tried there that day, including the famous double baked almond croissant. i’m no foodie so i’m not going to dwell on the food too much. but the ambiance was cute and i adored the witty decor.
patty’s been wanting to try out some photoshop effects for awhile, and i have to say that she really picked a good time to do this one… NOT! well i mean i like this effect and all but the food just doesn’t look very appetizing (sometimes i just don’t get artists, they can be so weird =P). no worries though, everything does look really appealing and delish in store!
summer in vancouver is one of the bestest things in the world. awesome beaches, fresh fruit and produce, yummy sandwiches, refreshing drinks, great patios, and gorgeous sunset. what more can you ask for?
