Have a Mustache =)

Hi loves! Just wanted to quickly say thank you to those who purchased my Have a Mustache Ring, also to those who commented on them. I really really appreciate the support! I have them already made and packaged, just waiting for the Canada Post strike to be over =( The mustache rings are now sold out as I have ran out of material required to make them! I will try to get my hands on more material and hopefully start making them again very soon. Feel free to drop me a line if you are interested in purchasing one, I can start a waitlist ♥

DIY pearls & ribbon bracelet

it’s been awhile since my last DIY post. valentine’s day is right around the corner and i thought it’d be fun to make a very girly bracelet with those pearls and ribbon i have laying around at home. this is super easy to make! i hope you enjoy =)

what you need: scissors, ribbon, a pearl bracelet

my bracelet is from a set i got from Forever 21 (this set here). if you don’t have one already you can make it yourself with an elastic band and some (faux) pearls.

cut a small piece off, not too short, maybe around 4 inches. set it aside.

leaving a little at the end, start flipping the ribbon around until you get it like the above picture (2 loops).

using the piece you cut off earlier, tie a knot around both the ribbon and the pearl bracelet.

adjust the ribbon to make it look nice and pretty. trim off the ends and you have a nice double bow pearl bracelet!

if you have two of those pearl bracelets you can use both and it will look like this…

Have fun =)

DIY easy ribbon necklace

it’s been done thousands of times i’m sure. but i’m seeing ribbons being used on necklaces everywhere and thought i would make my own Marc Jacobs/Chanel inspired ribbon necklace =) it’s super easy and inexpensive to make!

what you’ll need:

ribbon (color/texture of your choice), chain, scissors

i’d like to take this opportunity to welcome What Annie Wears‘ newest sponsor! 9ct Gold Chains is an online store based in the UK. they sell lots of affordable chains and necklaces in both sterling silver and gold. this Price of Wales chain is my favorite! i think it’s really pretty =) here’s the link if you wanna check them out:

now onto the tutorial!

so basically you make a knot to start.

then you waive through the chain.

try it on. stop when you feel you have the length you want.

make another knot in the end. cut the excess ribbon.

tie the two ends of the ribbon then you’re DONE!
