The Regional Assembly of Text
So after that cup of java, Patty took me to this adorable little stationery/gift shop called The Regional Assembly of Text, also located on Main Street in Vancouver. The moment I stepped through the door I fell in love with the minimal yet totally delightful decor!
The lowercase reading room is a tiny space full of reading materials and hand made books for everyone to read. You can also pick up a Make Your Own Damn Book kit at the store to make a book of your own!
You can also hand make your own buttons here. We made a couple (well actually Patty made them, I just sat there and mucked around lol) and I’m very happy to announce that I will be giving them away along with other pins I got from the store to two of my visitors! stay tuned for more details!
They have a letter writing club that happens on the first Thursday of every month, typewriters and supplies provided! If you ever find yourself in Vancouver, make sure you visit this charming store full of creative and unique reading and writing supplies. It will for sure charm your pants off!
