So i’ve been feeling uninspired outfit-wise due to the heat. I crave loose, drapey, and lacey dresses but have absolutely NO pieces like that in the closet. It’s really hard to put together a complete outfit without getting frustrated when you’re traveling and don’t have your whole wardrobe with you. well, most of the time I feel so uncomfortable in the humidity that I wish I could just do away with clothes altogether and fall asleep in a bathtub full of ice anyways.
it’s funny how much i look forward to september now that I’m all grown up and out of school, because when I was a kid I absolutely dreaded it. as much as i loved autumn i couldn’t really separate the idea of it from the idea of going back to school. But now it’s the exact opposite. i have been counting down to september ever since the beginning of summer, mostly because i was anxious to skip the hot and humid weather in taiwan of course. but also because i just can’t wait to put on layers, boots, coats, and tights! don’t you think winter outfits are much more interesting? and of course there are lots of other things, like drinking hot coffee, leaves falling, and the hockey season, to look forward to.
