i was invited by Christine at Taipei543 to share a Neon Run outfit with y’all. to tell the truth, i’m not a big runner myself, but that sure doesn’t stop me from slipping into a comfortable casual outfit from time to time! for those who don’t already know, Neon Run organized by Taipei543 will take place on November 16th at Machangting Memorial Park in Taipei. it’s going to be a 5K night run with art & music. you can find more information at the end of this post!

chances are i won’t be able to take part that night, but here’s what i’d wear if i were to go (hope you dig!). the run will be held in november, which means it can get chilly at night. i opted for a pair of leggings and a hooded top in case it rains, and of course the top is in light colors because we all know wearing dark colored clothing out at night is a stupid idea. but then the run takes place at a riverside park where there’s no traffic so you can wear whatever you like =) the striped hooded top was actually a hand-me-down from a guy friend, i brought it home, cut off the bottom part, and now it’s a cropped top! the shirt (do excuse the wrinkles) around my waist is just to cover up my bum on the way (most likely taking MRT then bus) to the event! it comes off when the run starts, and if it gets cold you can wear it as a thin jacket! and finally, no Neon Run outfit is complete with a pair of neon colored running shoes! i have on a pair of Nike Free 3.0, light, flexible, and totally comfortable to walk and run in!

hope you all will have a great time that night! happy running =)
