ridiculously easy DIY ring

a ridiculously easy to do DIY!

what you need: i have no idea what these are called, the black string is some kind of a wire, and the other one is elastic

basically you just wrap the elastic around the wire like so…

fit around your finger to make sure the size is okay. secure with the wire itself by bending.

cut the excess.

voilà!

When the Rain comes down

it was raining when the pictures were taken. brace yourself, because that’s Vancouver for the next 5 or 6 months!

how rad is this vintage camera? it doesn’t work anymore but i still love it =P so here i’m carrying Patty’s canvas tote she got from Front & Company. it was on the mannequin in front of their famous window display for the longest time! Front & Company was selling it as a Ceci Est Un IT BAG from Longchamp, however on the front of the bag it says “Apparition” instead of “Longchamp”. well not that it matters because we both think it is a really cute bag and it didn’t cost that much. but anyone has any idea what happened there?

PAUL & JOE Alice in Wonderland Collection

i’m sure many of you have seen this set already. but for those of you who haven’t, i just wanna share with you this cute Paul & Joe beauty collaboration with Alice in Wonderland. this limited edition set actually came out around february earlier this year. it includes a collector’s tin with a blotting paper case (with an extra set of blotting sheets) and a clear lip treatment stick. this set you see is called daydream 02 in blue.

yep. as you can probably tell, i’m a huge sucker for cute packaging LOL.

before i go i just wanna quickly mention that i got this at Beauty Bar on 4th Ave. in Vancouver. before Sephora came around this place was… imo the best place to shop for beauty products in Vancouver. it is actually still worth checking out now, because they carry quite a few brands you can’t find anywhere else in Vancouver!
