今天早上有個比較有趣的穿搭想法, 但是我想穿的襯衫是髒的 =( 我覺得我有必要去逛街了, 最近穿的衣服有點乏味, 而且很多都是你們看過的東西。我在週間穿的服裝更是你不想要看的, 因為當我在外面跑來跑去的時候, 我穿的東西更是無趣。加上最近溫哥華的天氣不好, 我 發現自己總是在穿黑色。為什麼我的衣櫥滿滿都是東西, 還會有這樣的事情發生? 可能我該賣掉一些沒在穿的衣服, 才有空間放新的東西。但是我很不喜歡在衣櫥前拿著一條裙子然後想著 “也許這個以後還是會派上用場!” 還有 “不可以! 你的衣櫥已經太滿了!” 的那種掙扎。啊… 頭好痛 ><

I had a more interesting outfit in mind this morning but the shirt was dirty =( I think it’s time for me to go shopping again, something i haven’t done in awhile. my outfits these days are all sort of boring and are things you’ve seen lots here before. The outfits I wear over the weekdays are things you don’t want to see at all, because when I’m out and about in the city I wear extra boring things. And with this crappy weather, I find myself wearing an awful lot of black too. Why does this happen when I have a closet full of clothes? Maybe I should sell some of my stuff, you know? keep things circulating. but i really hate those “oh, but i might just wear it in the future!” vs. “fok that, you need money” dilemmas! grrrrr can’t be bothered!

牛仔褲耶! 部落格從去年八月底開幕以來, 這應該是第二次 (還是第三次) 牛仔褲出現在這裡吧? 其實我以前有點男孩子氣, 喜歡穿很中性的衣服, 所以牛仔褲常常是不可或缺的重點。不過有一天我愛上了古典的穿著, 從此以後我就只有在感覺中性打扮也不錯的時候才會把牛仔褲找出來。這條牛仔褲是我在英國牛津工作的時候在 Beicester Village 買的, Beicester Village 是一個名牌特惠購物中心 (outlet), 裡面的精品品牌包括 Ted Baker, Bally, Gucci, Paul Smith, Jigsaw, Dolce & Gabbana, 還有 Jack Wills。牛仔褲的牌子是 Red Chilli (兩個 L), 奇怪的是, 我在網上怎麼搜尋就是找不到關於這個品牌的資料。如果有好心人知道 Red Chilli 的相關訊息, 請通知我一聲 =)

Jeans! I think this is only the second (or third) time jeans have been showcased on this blog. I used to be a bit of a tomboy (if not a plain jane) and I wore jeans all the time. but one day I fell in love with vintage pieces and would only wear jeans if I am feeling tomboy-ish again. I got this pair from Oxfordshire’s Bicester Village (an outlet centre for several high-end brands, including Ted Baker, Bally, Gucci, Paul Smith, Jigsaw, Dolce & Gabbana, and Jack Wills) while I was working in Oxford. It says the brand is called Red Chilli (not a typo, double L), but the weird thing is that I find absolutely no information online about this label. so bizarre! If you happen to know anything about Red Chilli, please kindly let me know because I would totally purchase another pair from them!

然後, 我最近在部落格上增加了一些有趣的小玩意。如果你在這裡留過言, 應該會發現留言時沒有你的大頭貼。所以我安裝了 Gravatar, 基本上它是一個跨站台的大頭貼服務, 在 Gravatar 網站註冊一次 (進入網站後, 按左邊 “Get your Gravatar today”, 填入你的 E-mail, 去 inbox 收信然後確定你的註冊就可以設定大頭貼了!), 以後在這個部落格或所有支援 Gravatar 服務的網站, 他都會自動在你的留言旁邊顯示設定的大頭貼, 不過留言時記得是填上你當初登錄的 E-mail 帳號喔!

我增加的另一樣東西是 Google Friend Connect (在部落格右邊)。只要你有 Google, 雅虎或者 AOL 帳戶, 不必重新註冊, 只要按下藍色的 “Join this Site” 按鈕, 登錄後就可以直接加入成為這個部落格的一員。一旦加入就可以和大家分享你的頁面, 跟其他成員交流, 並且得到最新的消息。另外我還加入了 Bloglovin, 他跟 Google Friend Connect 很像, 只是你必須要重新註冊一個帳號。

最後, 我很開心的要告訴大家, what annie wears 終於要改版了! 希望新的設計和版面可以快點來。好期待! x

Hey my sweets! I have some announcements to make. First of all, don’t forget, this Wednesday 5/12 at 9PM  is the deadline for entering the cute buttons giveaway! Secondly, I have added some new features. If you ever left a comment on this blog, you might have noticed that wordpress doesn’t show your avatar. I have managed to install Gravatar and if you want a picture to show when you comment here in the future, please go to Gravatar, sign up and upload an avatar of your choice! Make sure to use the e-mail you signed up with when you comment in order for the picture to show =)

Another thing I added was Google Friend Connect ( found on the right side bar). Everyone can join and become a memeber of what annie wears using your existing Google, Yahoo, or AOL account. Once you join you can share a little bit about yourself through the personal profile, interact with other members, and be notified with updates. The last addition is Bloglovin, it works sort of like Google Friend Connect but you will need to sign up for a new account!

Finally, I’m so excited to tell you that this blog is finally getting a makeover! it’s been long overdue! Hopefully this change of design and layout will come swiftly. Can’t wait! x
