說實在的, 溫哥華的夏天可以算是無敵。一望無際的海灘, 新鮮的水果, 好吃的三明治, 陽台上看人來人往, 還有漂亮的日落。啊… 我是個幸運的小孩 (笑)。

summer in vancouver is one of the bestest things in the world. awesome beaches, fresh fruit and produce, yummy sandwiches, refreshing drinks, great patios, and gorgeous sunset. what more can you ask for?

我在台灣的好朋友常常會抱怨台灣沒有 H&M, 想買得要跑去香港。其實 1947 年成立於瑞典的 H&M, 目前在全球 100 多個國家有超過 1400 家連鎖店, 溫哥華也是在三年前才終於有了第一家的。因為前陣子在我的 Facebook 上有讀者問起關於 H&M 的問題, 剛好今天去了一趟, 就用手機拍了一些照片 (畫質不好請見諒), 如果你住的地方沒有 H&M 就加減看過過乾癮吧 =) 我很喜歡前陣子出的花園系列 (garden collection) 還有時尚抗愛滋系列 (fashion against AIDS collection), 一個是很淑女很多花朵的設計, 一個是熱情的波西米亞和搖滾風。雖然最近在打折, 可是我沒有看到特別喜歡的單品, 所以空手而回, 也許下次運氣會好一點 =P

is there an H&M in your city? they are having a sale and i went by to check it out today. i’m quite fond of the garden collection, everything is so pretty! other than that the sale was just alright. i didn’t end up getting anything, maybe better luck next time? sorry for the crappy cellphone pictures =P

Holt Renfrew 是加拿大的百貨公司連鎖店, 在加拿大許多大城市可以見到他的蹤影。 在這裡可以找到許多世界各地最流行的一線品牌, 衣服, 首飾, 配件, 包包, 鞋子, 還有化妝品, 保養品等等。每個城市店面的品牌有些出入, 在溫哥華的品牌像是 Issey Miyake, See by Chloé, Rebecca Taylor, Yves Saint Laurent, Dolce & Gabbana, Moschino, Marc Jacobs 都是我很欣賞的設計。

這裡是我跟 Tinny 兩個人以前翹課的時候最喜歡去的地方, 總是可以逛很久很久。雖然 Holt Renfrew 有很多讓我愛不釋手的東西, 但說實在的我很少在那裡買東西。我的想法是每個人穿上很貴的品牌都可以很好看, 但卻不是每個人都可以搭配平價的衣服仍然看起來很有型。當然也因為我根本買不起那些東西 (笑)。不過, 我很喜歡他們最近窗口的 Marc by Marc Jacobs 展示, 鮮明的顏色和很女生的衣服款式!

In Vancouver, Holt Renfrew windows are always a big attraction, sort of like the Macy’s windows in New York. Of course Vancouver is no New york, but i quite enjoyed gazing at the latest marc by marc jacobs window displays at Holt Renfrew. This is the place Tinny and I always went to when we skipped school. good times! Admittedly I never really buy anything from Holt Renfrew, although there are always many things i like. The way i think about it is that everyone can look great wearing expensive labels but not everyone can put together cheaper pieces and still look amazing. And of course I simply just can’t afford anything from there, LOL.
